3) is this a close or wide ratio trans.

The Lakewood housing looks like Chevy, as does the flywheel. I didn't check but I believe there are sites which decode the numbers on the transmission.

T-10

I don't know anything about these, but I believe it decodes to a 1976 Corvette. The S in the stamp was St louis, where vettes were made.

Feel free to edu me cate me...

Vader: I am interested in purchasing the trans only. Will you ship?

Also, can not tell in picture, but could you count the number of rings (grooves) radially cut in the splines of the input shaft. This will determine the gear ratio.

thanks,
dave b.

BTW: WL1062 means W-Borg Warner, L10-Dec. 10, Year-76, and 2- 2nd shift

VIN # dictates this was from a 1977 chevy so the trans was built during 1977 production model run.

trans

The trans has 3 grooves which I believe is a 2.64 wide ratio.

dave sent you a pm.
