theres nothing better than an old roof the next time it snows
i remember 4 of us kids riding an old hood tied behind dads car.
you can get the whole family on a roof!

I'm trying to balance between wanting this stuff gone quickly, and finding people who need the bits so they aren't wasted.
Once the body is gone I want to get the rolling chassis sold (if possible) so I can bring my 75 Corvette home and get it up for sale. The kids are conspiring to put me in the poor house, so I want to divest myself of some inventory.
Maybe someone needs a 65 rolling chassis. Frame appears to be rust free, except for surface rust. Suspension and steering were decent. Guess I'm getting ahead of myself.

[QUOTE=HonestDave;496557]The bottom of the window channel is still attached to the trunk section, and I think it's the only piece that rots. I know someone is looking for those chrome corner bits from the drip rail, but any time I try to pop these things off, I damage them.
I know out here the top of the front window rail tend to rust out But in Utah we use a ton of salt 😨

For some reason I was envisioning the rear window channel. I guess that's because I was looking at it out the window just before your message arrived.
Didn't even think about the front. I've got the big chunk of front firewall upper half, with the dash and lower window seat cut out and sitting here. No rust in the window channel at all. Metal dash still perfect with radio area still in good shape. Put it on CL for $25 but so far no interest. Once again, too big to box and ship.

I'll take it under advisement. Maybe I'll fire up the sawz-all before the roof goes to scrap.
