1970 455 Engine

Here for sale is a Good running 1970 Oldsmobile 455 Motor. 2bl. All tuned up and ready to drop in and go! Good oil pressure, no smoke or noises. Carb to pan. Pulleys to flexplate. Plus a set of unknown dented set of headers. Had just under 100,000 miles. Pulled out of a 70 Delta 88.

E Heads
396021 F Block
30x119033 Code on block
3/302 date code on block
M/T Aluminum Valve covers
New Valve cover, water pump, fuel pump, and oil pan gaskets
New Oil Change and filter
Newer Water pump, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor

Comes as shown with pulleys, Alt bracket, Starter, fuel pump, and air cleaner Plus a set of headers. Any questions feel free to ask. I also have a video of it running.

Thats a really great deal for someone that just wants to drop in a 455 and roll down the highway.

How come it's painted red? Weren't most 455's the blue colour? Maybe i've been in the 72 world too long.

It is supposed to be blue. But i always paint my motors red. Its what i had in stock. Then i ran out before the vlave covers and had to use black on them and the water pump. HAHA

Looks sweet, not doubting that,

I bought a case of olds gold, hence, all my engines are gold. It looks sharp.

I hope to never see the day that someone paints an olds engine cheby orange

Thanks, i thought it looked good too. My Olds Lady has a ton of Olds gold, and is painting her 425 gold. HAHA
