455 engine for sale

>>> I have a 455 engine for sale. Took it out of my 69 442 last month so the original 400 motor can ultimately be installed. looks like a 68-69 toro block casting # 396021 F . Intake is a K casting # 398664 Heads are J. No boltons ( starter, alt, power steering,ac, etc.. ) as they were original to the 400 motor I'm rebuilding. Motor runs good but I have no idea as to miles or weather anything has ever been done to it. $ 500.

I have a 455 block with no heads, but it does have an intake manifold and 2bbl Carb. If you could use that, let me know. I have no idea how much shipping would be but I could crate it and get it to a freight terminal for you.

I am in Louisiana, just north of New Orleans.

It is a Texas engine so no Katrina damage here!! I guess $400 and the engine is actually in Baton ROuge. I might have a set of heads soon as well...

The best part is that it was sold in March 2012.

I believe I have come across a guy with 4-5 olds 455's that he's gonna get rid of. He also has a 425. (He used to be big into olds) he also has stuff for an older olds 66-68 I think. I'll let you guys know when I know something... Might be a little while, I gotta finalize my dealings with him first..lol
