i need a 4bbl intake mani for a 67 330 original engine. newbie question, what is a 4 bbl intake "with divorced choke thermostat included #390327". I just need more power out of this little guy til i get to a 455.

 

A divorced choke is the kind that was used in your year.

The attached chokes started in 1970, if I recall.

one thing, will an edelbrock performer carb 600 w/ electric choke model 1406 work with this intake manifold?

also any cracks or broken studs/bolts?

 

According to my parts book #390327 was used on 66 and 67 330 engines with a W or 8W prefix on the engine number.

 

 

is the crank 4 bolt with a n on it
is it a 4 bbl car motor
do the piston have circle on the top center

to anyone that can answer this, when the divorce choke thermo is removed, is there any block off plates for the 67 330 when running an electric carb or do i need to make one? Edelbrock tech said they do not have one for the original intake.

 

it is just a pocket in the top of the intake. it don't go anywhere. no plate needed.
