I am interested in the turn signal/cruise lever if it has a mounting hole at the very end.
Cant tell from the picture, but almost looks like a push-in variety. Could you post a close up shot of the lever end and the wiring plug connector (both in same pic).

Rob, are you thinking to heat the end and pound it flat then drill the hole? Might just work but it might destroy the chrome plating close to the end with the heat.

 

No heat, just pound!
