i restored this console late winter. i took 5 consoles and built 2 nice ones out of them. this one has only one chip and it is in the glove box liner at the very top by the screw. you can see it in the picture. i am not a professional console restorer in any way but it did turn out nice. i sanded and polished the trim and repainted the black stripe in the glove box trim. the wood grain and chrome insert are used and not show quality but look presentable. the lid hinge area is not broken or cracked but the lid don't line up perfect, also see picture. the light switch don't look great and the harness has one terminal broke off where it plugs into the light switch. i do not have a key for it. $365 plus shipping.

You mentioned that you had 5 consoles and combined them into 2, do you happen to have any parts left, such as the metal insert that attaches to the inside of the console lid?

 

i am short 2 of those myself. the 3rd console i did of the 5 will be for sale soon. it is not as nice as this one. it has a couple chips and nicks.

 

i just listed it on eBay. i need to come up with some cash, thanks for looking.
