I will have two original 1970 ram air hoods after my restoration. One is at the restoration shop in Colorado and one is in California. The one in Colorado needs a corner fixed and screen reinstalled but is a really nice hood.

The one in California is the best non NOS hood you can find anywhere. Original Pace Car white paint and stripes non lacquer check very minor damage to rt corner and nose. This hood should really be put on an original paint pace car. Great underneath with screen and no rust or stripped holes. Great top too no bubbles or cracks.

I have not set a firm price on the hoods but the CA hood will be higher than the Colorado hood. If you need a hood please pm me because I will need to sell them soon. The CA hood will probably be an ebay item and around $2800-3000 because it is so nice.

is that original paint on the underside, interesting if it is, I didn't think they painted the underneath of the hood. Looks like they painted everywhere but where the screen is

 

I need a pace car guy to help me with that. I have never had a pace car hood. It looks correct to me but I am not sure.

Where are you located Phantom? I am sure other members here have them if leepear don't have one. Post a wanted ad and at least the state you are in. I would bet you will find one. I have one that needs some work in Indiana but I don't want to ship.

Have you tried ebay? There a few people selling OAI hoods. I dont know what kind of a shape or price you are looking for but Thornton Muscle Cars (dewell92) is selling a nice one.
