This is a completely original 1970 Olds 442 W25 Ram Air air cleaner assembly. It was removed from a '70 442 around 1990 and has been stored indoors ever since then.

The assembly includes the following:

1) Air Cleaner base
- has 5 water drain holes
- includes grommet and pcv tube
- includes rubber plug on the side - I believe this is for the California / non-California version; I'm not sure which one. (One has two pcv grommets, and the other has only one)
- the snorkel opening is in excellent condition; no dents, no damage, no repairs
- the thermal heat control valve is present and functioning

2) Metal lid for the air cleaner element.
- the underside of this piece is really nice
- the top side of this piece will need to be cleaned up and repainted or powder coated

3) Air Induction top.
- this piece is in good condition but I have discovered a couple cracks in the top. They should be visible in the pictures. They start at the vacuum motor mounting screws and go toward the "L" and "E" in Oldsmobile. These do not seem like they would affect the functionality of the air cleaner but they will probably need to be addressed. It will also need to be repainted
- the vacuum motor is present and was working last time I tested it, but that was many years ago
- the flapper door is in great condition; all hinges are there and functioning properly; no cracks, no breaks

4) Springs and tabs - I have both hold down springs and the tabs for the valve covers. The springs clip into the Air Induction top and the valve cover tab.

Overall, this is a nice, complete and all original Air induction assembly.
