A set of used M/T valve covers. I had them them on my SBO 350 with no problems. I am going to go back to my original covers and no longer need these.

They have the black "wrinkle" paint with the fins polished. One valve cover flange had to be "massaged" to fit with my aftermarket A/C bracket. Nothing major and you would not notice unless it's pointed out.

The set will only come with one grommet, I will be using the large one for the original set. If I find an extra one laying around I will include it in the sale.

Also have an air cleaner (GT40 style). Seems to match the valve covers very well. Comes with base, filter and cover.

Interesting. I have those same valve covers, but mine do not have the hole for the breather on the passenger side one. GLWS though.

 

That's because they come with a knockout in the hole, so you can decide if you want to use breathers or not.

 

Do they have the baffles in them? Can you post a photo of the flange mods?

 

Yes, they have baffles. Granted they are homemade but do the job. I will post pics of the underside tonight when I get home (which I should have done to begin with). I also have a GT40 wannabe air cleaner that matches the finned valve covers I will offer for sale as well (pics forthcoming).

Good to know. So I could in theory keep mine, just remove that side, punch out the knock out, put a breather in, and stop the oil from entering the pcv valve.

Not sure what you are talking about. I have several sets of M/T valve covers and bought 1 set off of this forum (if it was from you--than so be it). If it was you (which I can only assume since I did not make it known to the forum in an attempt to drag the sellers name through the mud); then yes I was sold valve covers that were cracked. But the ones I listed above are not the same ones. You can PM me if you want to address this further.

 

Somehow this jackwagon has been able to get back on this board and this is the usual crap he tries.
