SSII wheels - set of 5
In the Chicago area, set of 5 unfinished 14" SSII rims with the chrome trimmings for 3 wheels, and partial trimmings for 2. They need just a little TLC and they will be ready for paint. Asking $200.

After my '72 Cutlass was wrecked, I held on to the wheels thinking I would get another old GM, but it never worked out. So it's time to pass them on to somebody who can use them. The wheels are available for inspection, if so desired. Details are on the craigslist ad.

I have shopped around for an average price, and for the set of 5 with most of the chrome, my findings have me coming in lower than average.
If I am way off base, please show me as one appreciator of Oldsmobiles to another. I am not unreasonable.
But if you want to continue with the snarky comments, you can go pound sand.

Just an unbiased opinion, but these will need a little more than a little work for paint. Bead blasting etc. is in order. I think that is the reason for the response.
If the chrome looks like the wheels, just throw it in the garbage.
Sorry if this offends you.

@Johnspd22 - That is the kind of input I can appreciate and work with.
The rust on the wheels is really superficial. A light sanding and a quick go over with naval jelly would take care of it quickly.
Yes, I could do that, but I have preferred to let the potential buyer prep the wheels as they want. If the visual is that biasing, maybe I will hold on to them till spring, and do that. The chrome is in fair condition. It has been used over the years, so it is not pristine, but it is serviceable.

Yeah I doubt if find those in the junk yard, but every time I say that I go the next day and find them. If I did I would let you know, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
