Deck Lid

Deck lid for sale. I think it fits 1970-72 hard top cutlass and 442's but wouldn't be factory correct for a 1970 model. It has rust but I do not see any holes. I have had it for decades but decided I wasn't going to use it as I needed a 1970 version and decided to have my current one fixed. Pick up only. I'm in Northern Ohio 44138 Zip Code. $100
Thanks

I just did a quick measurement, and it appears this isn't for a hard (holiday) coupe when compared to my car. Not sure what it fits now....maybe a Supreme? The cut out on bottom of lid where it meets the quarter panel is about 9 inches long. Maybe that helps?

Trunk Lid interchange

Am of belief Supreme and Convertible used the same trunk lid - '70 to '72. Fastback would be Different. Am no expert maybe one can chime in on that statement.

Yes, Supreme, convertible, and 4-door deck lids are similar. I say similar as the front corners are 90 degrees for Supreme and rounded for convertible and 4 door. Then there’s the obvious differences in trim for the models and years.

The trunklid in this post is for a Supreme 2dr hardtop (second photo in the three I posted above)

Thanks Joe, I seen that the 2 door (coupe) supreme hard top in the parts manual listed a different part number than the part number listed for the convertible, Supreme sedan and holiday sedan. I just couldn't figure out how to tell what I had as I had nothing to compare it to except my holiday coupe which is total different part number. Thanks for clearing it up!

Thanks to everybody else who chimed in as well.

I'm willing to take offers as well as I would like to see it go to someone who could use it.

The trick is to look at the distance from the RH edge of the Cutlass emblem to the edge of the trunklid. Convertibles and Supreme 2dr hardtop trunklids have almost no gap. Cutlass S coupe trunklids have about an inch or so gap.

that lid came off of a 1970 car, not a 71 or 2
