Out of my budget, but would love to see what originals look like! You get some cool stuff for sure.

So much better than the repops. High end 442's really need originals like these. First set I have seen in over two years.

I know I reached out to you for advice when I sold the pair I had about 7-8 years ago then haven't seen any until just recently. There was a pair out at Carlisle last month, then this pair, plus about 6 months ago a pair sold out of Pa and went to Florida. They're still out there if you're lucky enough to find them.

No kidding. I was selling them for $2K 6 years ago. They keep going up like the W-27 rear ends do

1,500 W-27s? I thought the number was less than 400, but I get your point.

I am talking about supply and demand, not comparing parts production. Don't matter how many were made, it matters how many are available now verses how many people want it.

Of all the repro Olds grills, it's the '70 442 grills that show the largest difference ("quality", definition, exactness, etc) b/n the original and repro version. Granted, I believe this was the FIRST grill that was repro'd (Olds Abody's) and that was a long time ago so I suspect the tooling costs were out of site. Even decent used original grills are a challenge to find.
