1964 Floor Shift Tilt Column Olds 88 98 Starfire

Original 1964

floor shift tilt steering column. This is for the full size cars. In storage for decades. The original tilt and turn signal levers have been lost. The tilt mechanism works fine. The turn signal switch also works. There are no dents in the upper bowls. The lower black shield has a dent, (picture 4) but the shield is removable for repair. $399.00, includes safe insured U.S. shipping. Check or money order. PM me if interested.

The column is dated the 325th day of 1963. It is for a 1964 car. I've been told it will not work on the '63 cars. Price reduced, now $349.00.

Looks like it came out of a cornering lamp car. Either a Starfire or 98 Custom Sports Coupe.

I tried installing a 1963 column in one of my 64 Starfires. 63 column, bolted in and aligned in the 64 dash, was nearly 3" too short to attach to the rag joint.

Time the ditz I bought it from lost the bank check I used to pay for it, that column cost me over $500 in 1985 money and was still unusable.
