1970 W-30 Intake For Sale







Hello All,
1970 Olds 442 W-30 Intake. Take a look... the picture with the "RED" arrow show's the typical problem port, all threaded holes are great as the problem port with the "RED" arrow.
$1500.00 + the ride.

Looks like a nice piece to me? I think when you have a very specific part for a relatively rare car, it limits your market. W-30 parts like heads, intake, number specific carb, dist etc. are worth that I guess to someone doing an original resto for that W-30 car. But you have to think how many W-30 cars are left to restore that are missing that part or maybe need a new one. Then there is the reproduction parts that make it more challenging. W-30 parts like the OAI set up can be used on all non W-30 cars of that yr and add to look, performance and value and will have a bigger market. The aluminum intake not so much. GLWS

Good points.
ebay will give you a larger market place to sell your intake.
If you want top dollar you will have to wait for the right buyer.
As the population ages the value of these parts will be coming down as the demand tapers off for muscle cars in general.
