70-72 bench seat shifter handle
#4
brandon,
question- i have a shift handle, same contour as your picture shows, without any marks on it ----no corrosion - no rust #7236 it is engraved "HURST" toward the top- perfect threads. you mean to tell me that these handles command $150 or more?
i installed a new hurst unit into my 442 about 5 years ago instead of rebuilding the bushings and slides on the original unit. what would a complete original shifter be worth?

Dal, 7236 is not an Oldsmobile shifter handle it’s for Chevelle they are very common and could still be bought new for about $80. The 7305 I have listed is a much rarer bench seat only 70 to 72 shifter handle. Chances are if you had a Chevelle shifter handle you probably have a Chevelle shifter mechanism also very common and readily still available. Thanks Brandon
