Not mine, seen and thought someone on here would want them.
These engines are being sold for parts or rebuild don’t know much about them I think one of them came out of a 1063 olds star fire turbo car ?? Not sure

Nothing in that ad is from a Jetfire. The motor in your first photo (the one sitting on the bellhousing end) is actually a Buick, not an Olds.

It say's turbocharged, fluid injected. So, I guess not the first Turbo.

First American Production Car with a Fluid Injected Turbo!

On April 20, 1962 Oldsmobile introduced the first Jetfire, a sporty , smaller car powered by a turbocharged, fluid injected aluminum 215 c.i. V8. The 15% boost from the turbo resulted in 215 H.P (“a horse per cube”)! This high performance compact was introduced two years before the advent of the Ford Mustang and the Pontiac GTO.

The addition of fluid (alcohol and water) injection to enable the use of higher compression added a degree of complexity which required more maintenance than anticipated. Many turbos were replaced with 4-bbl. carbs. This ended the production of new Jetfires at the end of ’63. The Jetfires are quite rare today. It is estimated that only about 100 are in operation today, and probably less than 20 have fully functioning turbos.

If I am wrong, I am sure you will tell me!

There is an ongoing argument between Olds and Chevy guys about who had the first turbo production car. The Corvair turbo showcar was released first, but it was not a production version. The Jetfire was announced first as being production available. I don't know which was actually DELIVERED to a paying customer first. Both were on sale within a month of each other. Buick had nothing to do with this - their turbo V6 wasn't released until 1978.
