70/72 Cutlass Side Marker Light Set

Very good used condition. Yellow lens have great color with minimal fade. Housings and lens has been cleaned, polished and re-sealed. Retainers were bead blasted and re-finished. Solid studs. Missing 1 gasket. Some pitting on the backside of the housings but not excessive. Fronts are pretty clean with the exception of a couple nicks on the edge of one of the lights. Some minor scratches in the lens. These are original 45+ yr old parts that show some age but overall look great. Probably the last set that I'm going to do. $155 shipped. PayPal accepted. Returns accepted if you buy and are not happy with them.

Very nice job Scott, good looking items. Did you have to do anyhing abve cleaning to get the "chrome" housings to look that great?

Thanks for the compliments Brett! Yes, those housings can get very nasty and they usually do take quite a bit of TLC to get the shine back. I usually clean them with Purple Power and then use some combination of Turtle Wax Chrome Polish and Rust Remover (in the green bottle), Never Dull and/or Loctite Naval Jelly depending on how bad they are. The Naval Jelly contains phosphoric acid so I use it for the really nasty ones. Just don't use the Naval Jelly on chrome rims as it takes the bluing out and wear gloves when using it.
