FOR SALE 1968-1969 400ci 442 OLDSMOBILE ENGINE WITH LESS THAN 5000 MILES SINCE REBUILD THAT ALSO INCLUDES MANUAL TRANSMISSION READY NODULAR CRANKSHAFT. ENGINE HAS LESS THAN 1000 MILES SINCE CAM AND LIFTER CHANGE. NEW ELGIN E-976-P CAM AND LIFTERS INSTALLED AS PREVIOUS CAM PROVIDED NO MANIFOLD VACUUM. THIS CAM HAS GREAT POWER FROM 2000-6000 RPM AND HAS 14-16 INCHES VACUUM FOR ANY VACUUM ASSISTED ACCESSORIES (.281 INTAKE CAM LIFT AND .448 INTAKE VALVE LIFT.
CASTING NUMBER 396026 G 400 c.i. BLOCK (68-69, STD BORE), 397363 CASTING NUMBER MANUAL TRANSMISSION READY NODULAR CRANK (68-72), CASTING NUMBER 394548 "C" HEADS (68-69 with original valves, guides and valve seats), STANDARD PISTONS (BLOCK HAS STANDARD BORE), STOCK RODS and 68-69 CORRECT CASTING NUMBER 398662 CAST IRON INTAKE MANIFOLD. ALL CASTING NUMBERS CORRECT FOR YOU 68-69 OLDS 442.
