Good question Stefano. This wheel was sold to someone on this board who has failed to pay in two months; that is the reason it is relisted. The wheel is already packed up tight and boxed for shipping (since I took the buyers word that he was going to buy). After two months of excuses and nonsense it is re-listed. I don't know the day of manufacture, however, if relevant to a serious purchaser, I will unbox and provide this date.

Looks like 10-3-69 to me. Need to look to see if any of mine have that date.

Orange 442, you have good eyes (better than mine). Yes, it does look like a 3 just to the right of the valve stem. Thanks for noticing/posting.

Greg, I just expanded the pic out as far as it could go. The 9 is hard to make out but it is there left of the 10.

Yep looks like that to me too, should work on almost all 70 W30s then as that's about as early a build as there was for W30s

The earliest XT I have seen original to a W30 is 7-31-9.

Greg's rim will be technically fine for the vast majority of W30 and most 442s.

Look at the stampings around the valve stem hole. Look for a stamping like K-1-9, 9 would be under K1 usually and be 1969. Next to the hole will have a month and day, one number on each side of hole.
