I believe you can add 1970 convertible to the compatibility list. There are two locations in that area for the top switch and or cruise control switch, they both use the same size cutout and I have seen convertible top switches in either location. My convertible has the switch in the same location as the cutout on your trim. For potential buyers, is the trim metal backed like the original or is it just the decal?

thanks for that info!! The dash insert is the factory style vinyl that is laid over steel.
