Warning, Spammer claiming to sell parts he doesn't have.

I don't know who you are, but the two 1968 442's in your picture are my cars! I just checked, they're still in the carport behind my house!

The post by azeno, the first picture is one I took a couple years ago. I'm leaving this post up for now as he replied to 25 different requests for parts wanted and left his email and phone number. I want to give a heads up to anybody who contacted him, don't send him money!!!

The wording of the ad, looks to be Carlosman who was advertising here back in March. We all pretty much came to the conclusion he was a scammer. I would think that poorly written, broken english ads would be a tip off.

Good catch.

I reported him March 25. How do these guys get past the newbie trial period and get right on the main board with one post? Change in procedure perhaps.

Hell, you got his IP? I know people who know people who know people that could destroy his pc and clean out his checking accounts, if you're so inclined.

Tempting as that is you would be stooping to this dirtbags level. Someone will catch him doing something and he will get the kicked out of him...I/we hope.

I was wondering what happened to the replies I got to the wanted parts ad I just posted a few days ago, it was from "azeno", he's the only one that answered up! I get the notifications on my phone and reply on my home computer. Thanks to whoever figured him out, parts alone are a pain to find for this thing, let alone also possibly dealing with a scammer!

I've never stooped ..... I'm just kinda short is all. But that was years ago when I still had a cluster running in the livingroom. Kids today have it easy. More power in their phones than that.

Does make me wonder if I could pull off a Beowulf cluster using smartphones .....
