I have two Cruise Control Oldsmobile Vacuum Regulators #s 404224 and 419977. I did a search and found the 404224 can be used on Oldsmobile models; 88, 98 and Toronado though I believe it could be used on 1972 Cutlass 442 models since it appears to be the same regulator used in that year. I did a search of 419977 and one site stated this was a replacement model for the 404224. Both transducers are untested. I decided to open up the front covers of each unit and they look great inside - at least to me. The filters were disintegrated in each from age and I replaced them with a piece of charcoal filter I had laying around. The 404224 comes with the mounting bracket and the 419977 does not. I am looking to get $30 plus shipping for each one.
