Unknown bracket off a 1971 455 Delta 88

No idea if it's a power steering bracket, AC, alternator, etc. I don't think $40 is asking too much. No idea how much they are really worth. In great shape. Taken from a 1970-71 Delta 88 455 Olds.

Thanks! They bolt to the left cylinder head to form 1 bracket. I imagine the 70's compressors were quite large and heavy compared to todays.

(no offense, but...)

Think again.

I'd say ten bucks, tops, especially considering someone's going to have to pay shipping, and they're rusty. If I needed them, I might go that high, but I'd probably wait to find another set for $5.

The one on the left is front alternator bracket for an A/C car. The other one combines with it to make the alternator and power steering pump rear support bracket. Y'all need to remember Oldsmobile almost always had their A/C compressor on the passenger side of the engine.

They're generic to most 71-76 455. Clean 'em up good and shoot 'em with some cheap semi-gloss black and you might get your $40.

Now, if it were for a non-A/C car, where the alternator is on the passenger side, sky might be the limit.

Eric- Arizona rusty and East Coast rusty are different.

They are not "rusty". This is AZ. Not Louisiana. We do not have pitted metal here, at most the surface will get a little orange or red colored. But we do not have "rust" in the way that most people think of it.

I'll take $25 for them. Otherwise they go in the garbage.
