I see your avatar of the Holiday Olds. Are you related to Dickie and Jack Wieland of Holiday Olds fame? I worked with them at Holiday Olds when you were a mere toddler. Chuck Ellis was the driver of that car and the showroom had a shelf up on the wall full of trophies.

 

Yes Sir. Jack was my dad, Dickie is my uncle. The late Chuck Ellis was behind the wheel in that pic (he just passed this summer). I worked at Holiday Olds in the mid 80s when I was in high school. I remember the Father’s Day picnics very well. Hopefully you were on the mechanics side of the tug of war!
