Trumpet tips

This is a set of tips that have been sitting around a few years. Never used in good shape with very slight blemishes that I tried to show in pics. $50 plus shipping.

Chrome never looks good on screen and $50 a great price. Are they 2 1/2" or 3" ?

IDK, I would guess reproduction? Didn't tips come welded to tail pipes for NOS? I've seen NOS tail pipes years ago with the tips already on but maybe that was if you bought tail pipes? Seems like the tips would be available themselves?

The tailpipe tips were never available separate from GM. They were only available with the tailpipe. Walker exhaust made the tips for years.

I was at Berejiks performance shop probably 1999-2000 I was looking for some stuff for a pace car that I had at the time. I was shooting the breeze with Phil Berejik. He had a pair of tail pipes there with the tips among other stuff where I learned about them. I wish I grabbed a lot of stuff: NOS 70 front bumpers (stack of 20), NOS 71-72 rear 442 bumper, NOS front upper control arms with the ball joints riveted in, show cases full of trim pcs, air cleaners, hoods, sheet metal etc..this is the stuff I remember looking at but there was a so much more........ and a garage full of cars behind the shop.

Berejik name was synonymous with Olds racing back in the muscle car day.

Back before the NTOC was NTOC it was the Dallas Performance Olds Club. We held a show at what was then Henry Butts Olds, one of the big Olds dealers in Dallas. During the show we were taken on a tour of the parts warehouse and there was NOS stock of huge amounts of 60's and 70's parts. Some very rare today. Should have bought some!
