Transmissions 350BOP vs 400BOP vs 700R4

I was curious about these three transmissions and their performances on 307 engine. Unfortunately, I have a rebuilt 200R4 transmission in my car now. Its performs ok but I want more tire spinning and acceleration coming from take-off. I just made my mind up about engine swap and im not goin to do it no time soon. So Should i keep 200R4 and add a shift kit? Are upgrade transmission to one of these transmissions listed and tell me why that particular transmission?

With the mild 307 build I'd stick with the 220R4 for now until it dies on you. Going to the TH350 or TH400 you'll lose the OD and the 700R4 is just a switch to a somewhat beefier trans for no real gain in performance. I've never heard anything good about a 200R4 but if it's still going strong why change it? Spinning tires really isn't a function of your transmission but more your engine and rearend build. Focus on your engine for power if you want better acceleration and tire spin. Rather then a swap in transmissions maybe a swap to a larger engine is what you want. 307's aren't know for their power. A 350 or 403 would bolt right in and you could transfer all the brackets and accessories over easily also.
I just switched out my 2pd Jetaway for a TH400 but that had obvious benefits such as an extra gear and a beefier trans all around. Not to mention the Jetaway was on it's last leg. I just don't see how you switching out transmissions at this point is a benefit to you. Think more toward an engine swap for power and what your goals are.

The 200-4R can be built just as stout as the 700-R4. When you swap the engine, make it easy on yourself and get a built 200-4R. They're not that expensive.
