Shift & Fuel Smarter – 11% Off MSD at CARiD

Whether you're looking to significantly increase your engine's power output, completely upgrade your fuel system, optimize shift control, or improve electrical efficiency, to get some dramatic changes in horsepower gains, MSD parts deliver the reliability and performance you can rely on. Today, we’re sharing our top-three picks from MSD: Fuel Rails, the Programmable Transmission Shift Controller, and the Stand-Alone Solid-State Relay, all manufactured to help you maximize your vehicle's potential. Give them a shot and experience improved fuel delivery, performance, and transmission control on your next drive.

Here’s a closer look at their key features and benefits.

The MSD Fuel Rails are designed for high-flow applications, making them an ideal choice for performance builds, turbocharged setups, and high-horsepower naturally aspirated engines. They are made of precision CNC-machined lightweight, high-strength aluminum covered with corrosion-resistant black anodized coating, to withstand high fuel pressures and harsh conditions. Each kit comes with high-pressure Leak-Free O-ring fittings ensuring a tight seal. They are designed for popular high-performance intake manifolds, making installation seamless for custom builds and aftermarket EFI setups while ensuring even fuel distribution to each injector.

MSD® 2720 - Fuel Rails

Specifications:
  • Emission Code 5;
  • Color Black;
Notes:
  • If using tall EV1/Bosch style injectors on LS7 or LT applications, there may be interference on low hood applications as on Corvette and similar;
  • 1999-2004 applications utilizing a factory supply and return fuel line will require the addition of a fuel pressure regulator when installing MSD fuel rails;
  • P/N 534-211 - Adapter kit, required when directly connecting Atomic fuel rails to GM factory fuel line quick-connect. Includes (1) 3/4-16 O-ring port plug and (1) -6 to GM quick connect adapter
  • SPECIAL TOOL REQUIRED: GM 3/8" Quick-Connect Release Tool to disconnect the factory fuel line (these are inexpensive and available at the local auto parts store);
  • Fuel rails are machined to accept large -8 (3/4 -16) O-ring fittings (sold separately) - Earl's P/N AT9850008ERL - 4 required;
For those running electronic automatic transmissions, the MSD Programmable Transmission Shift Controller is a top-pick, allowing you to monitor transmission temperatures, shift timing, and fault codes in real-time. This unit provides full control over shift points, firmness, and torque converter lock-up, allowing fine-tuned performance for street-racing applications. Any transmission configuration may be used, including up to a six-speed transmission. Programming the RPM and other options of the MSD Programmable Transmission Shift Controller can be done using the MSD Pro-Data+ Software on a Windows-based PC.

MSD® 75591 - Programmable Transmission Shift Controller

Features:
  • Ensures outstanding driving performance;
  • Made to provide fuel economy;
  • Guarantees outstanding durability;

The MSD Stand-Alone Solid-State Relay can handle up to 30 Amps Continuous Load with an input voltage of 12 volts DC. It is a fully sealed construction, made from high-quality materials for ultimate durability and designed to provide instant, high-current switching. This Relay is the best choice when 12 volts are required, making it ideal for fuel pumps, electric fans, water/methanol injection, and even nitrous solenoids. Being compact, it can be easily mounted in tight spaces, making it ideal for custom wiring projects.

MSD® - Stand Alone Solid State Relay
