I hope so and hope not all at the same time. Need the money. Prefer the shop art! 
I do have a local guy interested he's 1st in line but I'll check into the shipping for you. Never shipped an engine before I'll have to figure out the weight.

Man all I can say is too bad your on the other side of the country the shipping would kill me or I would be all over one of those engines for my one project.I'll put it this way I bought a 455 that came with trans from florida and before shipping it was somewere from 6 to 8 hundred for the motor then with shipping it was over a grand
.So if it was a grand total to ny that far I can only imagine from were you are.

If so, I have a set of bare 1970 "E" heads that i'll be letting go of shortly (I need to have this other set i just picked up mag'd & checked first)
The E- heads are bare, Mag'd & checked, & hot tanked. The AIR bumps in the exhaust ports have been ground out. They were large valve units & the valve guides are still tight & do not need to be redone.

Looks like I'm a day late and a $$$ short...Do you know of any other 400s or 455s forsale in NW Washington. Any leads would be much appreciated. My 400 has too much freeze damage to make it practicle to repair.

As posted above, I still have my set of E-heads for $100
They have been magged & checked & initial hottank. AIR bosses have been ground out. Good guides. head are stripped bare and just need seats touched up & resurface the mating surfaces.
Unfortunatly i don't have the valves that went with them, my machinist friend lost them (thanks a lot) but i do have a full set of original rocker arms & pivot towers that i'll throw in if wanted.
I also have a set of B heads- still need to be magged & checked (but they came off a running car so i'm sure they are fine). Disassembled. Guides are good- comes with Valves (large valve), Rockers, Springs, etc. Just need a basic valve & seat regrind & resurface and they'd be ready to bolt on. $150
For $50, i will include the used valves from the b-heads with the E-heads, but they will need to be reground of course.
