Rebuilt Olds 455 w/TH400 for sale

I have a 1974 Oldsmobile 455 that has been rebuilt with 10:1 pistons, Clevite bearings, Melling oil pump, double roller timing chain and a Lunati Bracketmaster II cam. The heads are 1970 G castings with new valves, seats, guides and springs. Teflon valve stem seals installed. Unique thing about this motor is everything is standard and within specs! Pistons, mains, rods and cam bearings.

Holley Street Performer aluminum intake, Accel distributer, pulleys, brackets, alternator all included.

TH 400 long shaft transmission was rebuilt by Chance Transmissions, Wichita, KS. New heavy duty stock convertor included.

Complete Fel-pro gasket set with new Fel-Pro valley pan included.

Things needed to complete the engine are lifters, pushrods, rocker arms and carburetor. Was using a Holley 750 cfm double pumper.

Located in Central Kansas.

I'm asking $2000.00 USD for engine and transmission. Would rather sell together, but open to offers.

That's a great deal cost me about 300 to rebuild my trans with parts and a friend doing it. My machine work with parts for my short block is quoted out at about 2k.

Wish you were closer

Engine has never been fired since rebuild. As stated in my original post, it is currently a shortblock complete with rebuilt heads in their boxes. Did this so a prospective buy could inspect it. As far as I know, there is only one Lunati Bracketmaster II cam for an Olds 455, 290 int duration/300 ex duration, .496 int lift/.520 ex lift., hypereutectic pistons as far as I know. They are 10-1 compression. The engine had two passes on it when I bought it. Tore it down and redid everything, but used the pistons that were in it. Rods and crank are stock.

In case anyone is interested, the shortblock and heads have sold. Also the Accel distributor. I still have the TH400 with the new convertor, the Holley Street Performer aluminum intake and lots of misc. parts. Asking $400 for the TH400 or best offer. Other parts, make me an offer.
