Quadrajet 7043250
Professionally rebuilt and plated 7043250 Quadrajet. After having it rebuilt I decided to go another direction. Never ran it on my car after rebuild. $250 plus shipping. **SOLD**

Just a note for potential buyers. This is a stock carb for a 1973 Olds with a 350 engine but will work on other model years as well. The 455 used a 7043251. It looks like a very well done rebuild.

I have a potentially dumb question. My '68 442 carb desperately needs a rebuild - any chance I could transplant my choke assembly to this carb without a massive pain in the ***? I'm less concerned about originality, more concerned with function.
Thanks

What kind of choke do you have on yours? This is the original hot air choke but converting to an electric one is very easy.

I can't believe this carb still isn't sold. That price is incredibly fair. Shipping is what it is and any serious buyer knows that it comes with the territory. That carb looks identical to the 7042250 I have on my car - it was also professionally built at the same price point, and at the time I thought I was robbing the builder. He did everything; re-plated, new jets, linkages, vacuum diaphragms, housing cleaned and coated plus he delivered it to me in person.
I think your carb is simply competing with Covid right now and people are very price point conscious especially if they're not working anymore. Honestly, I wouldn't go any lower on price, you're almost giving it away right now IMO.
