Freshly rebuilt by Carburetor Shop in Ontario CA. From a manual transmission, non-California '78 403. Their Stage 2 build supposed to accommodate 500HP. Have no idea on jetting. $350.00 USD + shipping.

..... but I was under the impression there were NO manual transmission 403s ????

 

I know there are a few out there
BUT , may be they did not come from the factory that way...

 

This is what I was going by... I’m not familiar with the later carbs.

 

Do you have any receipts from Carb Shop? Did you run the carb and how does it run? I may be coming to Denver area in a couple of weeks. Interested for my 78-403 Firebird.

 

I mounted it on my 71 SX and it ran great. I rebuilt my original, drained and blew out with air, and put it back in the box. It's been sitting since 1996, so the gaskets might need to be looked at. All I have from the original shipment is the fancy box. Paperwork is long gone.
