With United Delco logo, it dates to between 1960 and 1974.
We pulled a bunch of those things and the compressors off junked Cadillacs and other full-size GM cars in the 70s. We used them to regulate air pressure to our air shocks. Get pulled over for rear bumper too high? Bleed off some air pressure. When the cop was gone, raise it up again! It was a fun game.
