Parting out a 65 98 conv

Parting out a mostly complete olds 98 conv. Rotten top, floors and frame. $400 for engine, $200 for trans or $500 for the pair. Engine is a 425 with A heads and doesn't run but will come complete - air cleaner to oil pan, water pump to flex plate. Trans is switch-pitch th-400. Any other parts tell me what you want and I'll get pics and a price. I will ship any of the parts. But anything that will have to go freight will be at least $150 for just the shipping. Pick-up can also be aranged. The car is located near Beloit, WI, so addition pictures may take a day or two (I live in Madison, WI). If you have questions, you can email me directly at my83432@charter.net.

I had a email from someone but there was no handle so I thought it was you. The other guy was asking about the center chrome and the chrome lip. If you just want the lip the cost would be $30 shipped. The front bumper has holes drilled in the top for the fog lights but looks pretty straight. UPS charges an extra fee if the package over 60 inches so shipping would be about 40 So how about $100 shipped for the bumper or $120 for both pieces. No one has told me they want to buy these parts as soon as they do I will hold for payment.

If you are going to completely disassemble the car, take a look at the body mounts. If they are like the 66's with metal cones in them, SAVE any cones that are in decent shape. They are very hard to find. When I did my body off resto, I had to make up some substitutes with washers. Not the best thing, but it worked. I know hundreds have been thrown away because people just send body and frame to the crusher without separating them.

I only have about another month to store the car and then it will go to the crusher. I know there are some rare parts on the car but I got no room.
