Parting out a 1971 Vista Cruiser

I have a 1971 Vista I'm parting out. Rusty roof and floors. A/C , power locks and solid doors.

Most parts still available.

Fenders are 1970 version with no crumple zones but there is rust at the bottom.

Front Bumper complete with brackets and turn signal housings. $200 Obo The bumper is a core no rott.

Radiator support- $175

15X7 olds ralley wheels- $250

........let me know what you need and I will shoot a price if good.

I do prefer local pick up for larger parts. But we possibly work out shipping
depending on part.

The parts are in ZIP 60586. Plainfield, IL

You can also e-mail me at Bbigggdaddie@aol.com.

Thanks,

brian

what date code is on the cowl tag, do the fenders look original, would be nice to see how far into 71 production the non crumple zone fenders went.

Does the car have a working back window switch?

How is the upper Vista glass? Is it the dark tinted or the mirrored "chrome" looking version?
Any delamination around the edges of that glass?
Thanks.

The switch is there but the tail gate was off it when I got it. I threw my ohm meter out last year. At the moment I don't have a way to check it.
The fenders to look original to the car I'll have to check the code.

The gas tank looks good...........but it's still in the car. Where are you located? I wouldn't normally ship a used gas tank.

I would be interested in the complete power lock system, wiring and all. Is it still there and unclaimed?

What is the condition of the inner fender wells? Are there any extra holes or cracks? Have they ever been painted and how much would you want for them?

I asked about the gas tank a while back...said "it's still in the car"......I kind of came to that conclusion on my own already.....

Unfortunately the weekend that I planned on cutting this car apart there was bad weatherand I wasn't able to cut it up. It's sitting in my garage at the moment in the same condition as the pictures. Also I came down with Bronchitis so I wasn't going to maake myself worse being out in the cold damp weather. This junk box isn't that important to me.

When I get to it I will reachout to the people interested in the items in the same order as interest. It will take some time at this point.

I've had many PM and obviously some interest in the thread. I also have it listed in other places as well.

I've had quite a few people interested in the complete car but I'm selling it in parts.

Sorry for those I haven't responded to but I will when I get to getting the car apart.

I will not box and ship big items but a shipper can pick the parts up here if you make the arrangements.

Thanks.
