Parting out 1970-72 Delta 88 455 motor

It is either a 1971 or 72 motor. Had pitted cylinders, a bore over would fix it but I decided to part it out instead. Going diesel in the truck! It ran fine before but smoked a little, not too bad. Suppose you could just hot tank it all, throw it together with lots of assembly lube and have yourself a sweet beater farm motor. Would probably go another 100,000. LOL

Motor has the usual parts for sale. I'm scrapping the block if nobody wants it locally. I have no idea what most of these parts are worth. I will list as many as I can, shoot me an offer of them here on the board.

-Ga heads
-8 pistons with rods
-Main caps
-Oil pump
-Fuel pump
-Starter
-Water pump
-Wierd vacuum tree (mounts on front of intake)
-1975 Pontiac 400 Qjet. New gaskets, cleaned inside and out. Great carb.
-Complete valve train
-Center dump exhaust manifolds. Numbers legible. AZ vehicle, not too rusty
-Distributor (points)
-Oil filler tube/cap
-Timing cover, threw away the aluminum/plastic coated gears
-Crankshaft, looks perfect no defects to speak of. Nodular, big N
-Plain valve covers, minor dings.

That's about all I can think of. Like I said, complete motor just in parts.

Keep the main caps matched to the block, or you won't get much money for it. Price goes down a lot when people have to buy different caps and pay to have it all re machined.
