I am a newbie to the forum. I owned a 1970 W-30 4spd car back in the late 70's. I found some parts in my shop that belonged to that car.These parts have been sitting for

years. The following is a list of parts I have:

1.) Original distributor #111977 9G21 ( 455 W-30 4-speed ) . Price 2500.00 O.B.O.

2.) 455 - Engine block casting # 396021F ( V.I.N. # 30M270851) , pistons, and connecting rods have been stored in a barn and are rusted.

The car was a 1970 442-W30 silver with a black vinyl top. When I sold the car in the early 80's I believe the car went to the Raymore Mo. area. I do not know if the car is still out there. If anyone knows where the car is located please let me know. Message me for additional details and pictures. I can text/e-mail pictures to you.

What are you looking to get for the engine stuff? Do you know why the engine was left out of the car? Not a spun main or hole in block kind of thing....right?

 

If it went to Raymore it probably was owned by Jerry Douglas. I vaguely remember a silver and black W-30 among some of the cars he had. At the time, mid-late 80's, he was fixing it up for his son.

I believe the motor had a spun rod bearing. The heads and intake and carb were not with the car when I purchased it. The block is rusty !!
