Olds Steering Wheel, 1980's?

Something else I picked up along the way. Grey wheel that appears in good condition. I've not pull the horn button off to see what's under it, but if someone is interested in it I will. Price would be $25 plus shipping from Southern Oregon. Let me know if you'd like to see any other views. John

That almost looks like a Buick wheel with an after market Olds rocket.

Nice wheel! It from a 1983-87 G body Cutlass. I had that kind of
Steering wheel on my '83 Cutlass Calis w/ T-Tops

It's a Buick T-Type wheel with a sticker on it.

Does this look familiar? 1983/84 Buick Regal / Grand National

The closest Olds got to that was started in the 83 Toro (looks much classier with the machined groves in the spokes doesn't it?)

and late 80 early 81 Cutlass Calais (change the center cap and, walla!)

Interesting replies! I would have never guessed this was one of the other GM lines with a stick on rocket emblem. But so far that's the majority of the views posted! John

That doesn't mean it's not worth 25 and shipping. Just need to find the right buyer!

Olds NEVER used a rocket emblem where the sides of the red background field are bowed outward. The factory emblems ALWAYS had parallel sides. I can only guess that the aftermarket companies altered the emblem to skirt copyright laws.

I missed that Joe. I'm not familiar with much newer than 1977 so I figured it was factory. It makes sense though that there would be copyright laws regarding the rocket emblem.

Now that I know what it is I'll try to remove the center emblem and toss it on ebay. Thanks everybody for the help! John

I think you can do better than your asking price if you put it on a Buick board. The leather looks pretty good. I'll forward the link to a friend of mine and see if he is in need.

John, that wheel is worth a fair bit more than your asking price. Ebay would fetch you 3-4 times more.
