I aquired a 50+ yr. collection from an 85 yr. old GM Master Mechanic.
Quite a few Oldsmobile Shop Service Manuals and Master Parts Catalogues.
These all came from the Dealership he worked at from 1950 to 1995.
He would intercept any mechanical books that had been declared obsolete by the Dealership and were destined for the dumpster.
The oldest manual is 1937 and ends at 1982 and the oldest Parts Catalogue covers the years 1938-48 on up to 1982 Olds, as well as 1982-83 Cutlass, Ciera, & Firenza.
Prices vary according to condition but my pricing is very reasonable. The most glaring problem is that some book covers are ratty but the contents of the books are complete and not all messed-up.
The old mechanic made numerous notations throughout some of the books; he worked on all of these vehicles at one time or another. Whenever he found something important, he made a note.
There are numerous Oldsmobile books in the collection.
