Olds 455 fors sale

I have an Olds 455 that needs a new home. The motor is from a 69 Delta 88, has "C" casting heads, and comes with a Performer RPM intake. The motor is completely disassembled for inspection. I had planned to stuff it in my 79 TA, but life has changed those plans. The block is in excellent shape with no rust or grime. I mic'd the bores and they are perfect as are the cam bearing bores. The heads are also in great shape, but need the normal rebuilding. I can provide pictures of everything to anyone who is interested. Just PM me and we'll get the ball rolling.

You may have a Performer RPM but it will not work on a 455. It is for 350 and 403.

cintr113- I was thinking in the neighborhood of $700. The motor is really in fantastic shape. Tomorrow, I'll go out to the garage and recheck the intake manifold to confirm if it's the Performer, or Performer RPM. Where are you located? Thanks for the interest

redoldsman- I went out and checked my parts this morning and confirmed: I do have a "Performer Olds 455" intake. Sorry.....got a little trigger happy with the "RPM".

Hi Turc,
I only need the drivers side head if your going to dismantle it. If it has the lower power steering bracket i could use that too. If you have access to that car i despertly need both arm rests if it is a 2 door. Let me know. If you could email me at ricliz@bellsouth.net for fastest response.

Thanks, Rich

Hope you got my email, Rich.
No, I really don't want to part it out. I would rather sell the motor whole. Any takers? It really is in great shape.

Nitro:
Yes, the motor is still available. I'm asking $700, but that's negotiable. Where are you located? I'm in Wilmington, Delaware. If you live in the area, we can set something up so you can take a look at it. Feel free to send me a direct email at turturici666@yahoo.com.
By the way...."NitroJunkie".....MetallicA fan?
Or, just a Nitro junkie?
