Okay I am thinking about selling a set of notched valve covers just wondering on intrest and value of them

Thinking the funds could go to other parts needed

Little surface rust under the cover

 

I see one notched cover and one not in the pics. What am I missing?

 

Yes , I thought they were a set but, I guess I only have one . they came with a set of A heads I picked up

 

They are worth maybe 50 bucks.

 

I sell sets for between $75 and $135 depending on condition. If your single driver side has no dents or pitting you should be able to get between $35-$50

 

You're missing the fact that if both are from the same motor, they are the one-year-only 1967 notched covers. 67 cars only had the driver's side cover notched to clear the larger-for-67 brake booster. 68-72 cars used two notched covers since those cars had a different, larger HVAC box for A/C.

 

This could be true the guy said they were they are in the same condition and he put the 65 400 in a 67 442

Is there numbers to check ?
