Thumbs up Notched valve covers $60

Offering here before EBay this weekend. $60 plus shipping. Box is about 26"x6'x6" and i'd say they way about 6 lbs.
Need clean up but didn't leak when they were on my car

For those of us who are not 68 experts, what is different about the 68 grommet?

I believe it is that on the RH cover, the grommet has a smaller ID than the later ones because the metal breather tube pushed directly into it, as opposed to the big breather "can" the later ones have that used larger diameter nipple on the bottom of it that goes into the valve cover.

For an example of how the any-year-except-1968 system is configured, see the average epay ad for a 1968. :-)

Here's the '68 5/8 hole grommet

Here is a '68 442 with the 2-bend steel tube on the LH side of the engine

Here is a dirt cheap 2-bend steel tube
Probably the non-OAI type
