For comparison, a certain nameless vendor (noted for having more money than class) had a used W27 "for sale" at the 2012 Homecoming priced at $18k...
by that std, a crated NOS one would be worth more than my entire '68 W30 convertible.
"Gift of the Magi" comes to mind.

I don't know this person, but please post some of these photos you seen in other sources, so you can keep people in the Olds community from getting ripped-off or placed in danger! How do you know the sources are not his? The Archway Olds Club of America was started by a person who worked at Carlson Oldsmobile. My dad and uncle purchased their first Olds from there after the came back from Nam. I'm not saying your not right, but you have to come with it if your going to call someone out as a scammer.

NOS Parts
Sorry, I should have been clearer. My opinion is that this is a scam. The W27 photo is from when Ron Memmer had it for sale at the Cincinnati Nationals. The W27 was purchased by a collector in PA who would never sell it. The aluminum intake is a photo from Ebay earlier this year. Don't know for sure; just my .02. I guess I should have said "be careful".

I remember the NOS W-27. Here's a pic of it from texas442.com from 2009.
I see that the new CL pic has some changes... Milk crate is now red and some stickers/stamps removed....all while retaining the cracks in the driveway.....

Yeah that is def the same photo. Is that the photoshop tech? I will be flagging this guys ad until he stops listing it! Always sucks when someone is trying to scam people who work hard for their money. Good eye to both yous from Indiana and Ctls 442 for getting the ball rolling!

I actually know a former Service Manager of several Oldsmobile dealerships here in St. Louis and there is not way in hell he wouldn't have told me about these rare parts. I, too, have flagged the Craigslist ad.

The CL W-27 pic is obviously a (poorly done...so much wrong) p-chop.
That's why I posted both pics. I guess I should've added a to the end of my orig post...but I was only part way into my first cup-o-coffee!
Although its possible that the seller is real, I highly doubt it.
I'll bet a little digging will find the originals for the other pics as well.
Someone ought to offer the seller a pile of cash and offer to meet them......Heck, we'll all come along!
If they're real, we get to check out some cool NOS parts.
If its a scam, well... there could be one less scammer....

This is what i sent him yesterday. now i know why he has not replied.
"I am very interested in the 70 442 grills. do you have a price? 812-986-????. I am also interested in the W-27 but i would rather talk about it on the phone. I only know of one W-27 in the crate and think this looks like the same one?"
