The difference between '68 & '69 is the cable length. The '69 cable is about eight inches longer to loop ahead of the door glass.

 

So, is it ‘68 or ‘69?

 

Cast number 403966 under the base. After some more research I believe this mirror is for the 1969 and 1970 Olds 88 and 98 cars. Price is now $189.00, shipping included.
