NOS GM BB Negative Battery Cable.

This is a discontinued NOS late design that superceded the original 70-71 A body BB Negative cable. Most likely the last design change before it was discontinued.
Measure's approximately 31" the same as early original cables.

Rick, you may want to check your numbers, 72's were side terminals (at least).

 

John, yes 70 -72 BB Negative cables were all side terminals.
This is the replacement offered by GM in the 90"s. Unfortunately like a lot of items it has gone through many design changes and new parts #'s before finally discontinuing it.
I could never understand why GM would change the characteristics of an item that supersedes the original part and give it the same application.

The 72 is a side post cable. I was confused.. loosing my noodle a bit lately.
The 70-71 original cable was a top post with a cable to the side of the connector. Almost like an "F".
