This switch matches my '66 98 (full-size) switch exactly. Pricing is on point. Not gouging, not dumping junk. Olds used the same switch on 88, 98 and Starfire convertibles from '65 to '66. The safety dash in '67 changed all that. Not sure about '64.

Obviously this switch is NOS since he still has the box, but a question is the condition of the visible die cast chrome surfaces. They can pit & go dull even sitting on a shelf for 60 years. Mechanically, it's probably perfect. Cosmetically, that would be my only question.

Cosmetic condition is easily resolved by 1 dead on & 1 underneath shot. Since that's what you see with this switch screwed into the underside of the "gullwing" dash of the 65-66 big car convertibles.

2 images would do it
1) dead on showing condition of the UP TOP DOWN vertical surface from the driver's seat position
2) underneath showing any pitting beneath on the underside of the switch which almost no one ever sees

Honestly, the die cast chrome will probably clean up beautifully with just a little #0000 steel wool and maybe some car wax. Investment here is ~8 minutes just to make it pretty.

Good luck & good hunting to all involved.

Cheers
Chris
