Nos 1971-72 water pump

Selling 71-72 NOS water pump. Pump comes with GM box, but box is not in the best of shape.

Part number is 408328.
This is suppose to be for w-30, HD and/or 373 rear - w/o ac

75 or best offer

More info:

Should be "dot" ID

5.1 Length
1.8" inlet nipple

I would double check that application. The non A/C 71/72 W30s use a 5.5 length waterpump. 408329 with "2" on top left.

The digits are often hard to read, and 408329 can look like 408328. Seems like they could have avoided that issue in assigning casting numbers.

I have in "the museum" an example of a factory oddity:

"2" 408329 which should be the 5.6" pump,

but -is-: Short 5.1" pump [verified]

Also, a nitpick: the large ID is on the RIGHT hand outlet boss.... It's the CAR's right or left, not an observers, which varies as the observer moves about.
