More information

Bench or bucket; manual or power; 2 way, 6 way; notch back, conventional, or 60/40. Often some other GM divisions will interchange for the same style.

I know of a bench seat in a '68 Delta 88 convertible in central Indiana. Where are you?

It's a bench seat with arm rest in the middle. Power 6 way I think and both backs move forward so people can get in the back as in any 2 door car. Was wondering if anyone knows which specific gm models would work. Thanks

I believe Buick and Pontiac, maybe even Cadillac will work.
Have a yard check their interchange book, and you might be able to find one on the net.

Lightbulb More alternatives

If it's the 6 way and not the 60/40, Hollander interchange says the following tracks will interchange: 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood; 1966 Olds except Starfire; 1967 Olds except Strato; 1968 Olds except 98 convert.; 1969-70 Olds (not 60/40). If the track will interchange and it is the same style seat, probably the seat will also interchange. On the east coast, Metro Used Auto Parts, Chesapeake, VA, is supposed to have a 1968 Delta 88 with a good front seat which should work. It's a bit of a drive for you, but be sure to call first: 1-800-789-8730. There are other possibilities (IN), but even further away from RI. Shipping would be expensive, but perhaps an option. Would rebuilding your frame be an option? Best wishes.

Surely you can find one a little closer than Indiana, but let me know if you don't. I'd have to pull it from the car/yard & then ship it, which like you said, will be pricey.
Good luck.

From Ozzie's post it sounds like some of the Toronado's would fit. They were all 2 door cars with the seats that tilt forward to access the back seat. That might broaden your search field.

Are the seat tracks usable with your seat? I've encountered bucket seats that are the same but used different seat adjustment rails and floorboard brackets. I wonder if some bench seats are the same?

2 door bench seat

I have one from a 69 delta 98. Been asking $200. Should be able to ship fedex probably around $100. It would come in 3 packages. I can be reached at c4004@bellsouth.net. The seeat also has the middle armrest, needs recovering.
