Late 70s -80s GM Bumper Jack

Excellent condition complete bumper jack--post, ratchet, base, lug nut wrench, retention sleeves, even mounting stud and wing nut. Appears to have been used maybe once or twice, even the zinc plating on the post is still bright. I'm not sure of the application year, please check the hook for your bumper. $75 (as MAD magazine would say, CHEAP!) plus shipping.

If you notice the jack doesn't have the J hook, it has the smaller slot seat that was introduced in 1973. I remember it being the first time I saw one when we bought our 73 Chevelle. I know it was around till at least 1980 on the GM line. Not sure how long till they went to the scissors jack arrangement, but I'd guess around 88.

Thanks for that information. I couldn't remember when the small slot in the bumper to accept the hook first appeared. The post itself has the same cross-section as my '70 and '72 jacks. At one time I was thinking of using the post of this jack for those earlier applications. I ultimately cadium replated those posts which I think cost me close to $200 each!
