Came across this hood and trunk in a bulk buy believe it's from a 55

Oldsmobile rocket 88 original parts has rocket emblem and lower emblem surface rust on hood didn't see any serious rust looks to be pretty clean and straight no dents hinges and all I have no need for them and would hate see them go to scrape yard when could be the missing part for someone project not looking to charge some ridiculous amount also know this is a original part that is in good condition not an easy find so would appreciate not to be low balled would prefer to sell to someone with this as a project car not someone stocking up on parts to resell for outrageous price so if this is something your project needs or you know someone who might be interested let me know located in East pa prefer buyer pickup would love to see what project it's going to after pictures would be awesome think they are some beautiful cars just not my cup of tea could also do barter or trades delivery possible with additional charge

It's not from a '56. I'm thinking '55. Thanks for posting this. Hopefully someone on here has a need.

Frank I believe you are correct as usual. It is not from a 54 either. I doubt it has lights in the exhaust on the rocket hood emblem.
